Intersection of Fourth St & Cedar Ave/Lockett Rd to close on Saturday, Sept. 13 for final striping

The Arizona Department of Transportation, the City of Flagstaff and their contractor are working hard to finish the Fourth-Lockett Roundabout Project. A key item that remains is final roadway striping, which is scheduled to be applied on Saturday, Sept. 13. In order for our crews to safely stripe the new roundabout and allow the new pavement markings to dry, the intersection of Fourth Street and Cedar Avenue/Lockett Road will fully close to all traffic on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 5 a.m. to midnight. The intersection will re-open to vehicular traffic the morning of Sunday, Sept. 14.

During this one-day closure, extensive vehicle and pedestrian detour routes will be in place (as shown in the maps below). Please follow the marked signage to get to your destination. Mountain Line will be temporarily relocating bus routes and stops throughout the area, view the live map for more information.
