Traffic Advisory Amador County 02/20/26

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 88 (SR-88) and 124 in Amador County next week.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Bamert Road to Falcon Ridge Road for tree work on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place from Jackson Creek to Jackson Valley Road for tree work on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place at SR-26/Red Corral Road for utility work beginning Thursday, February 26, 2026, through Friday, February 27, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 124

  • One-way traffic control takes place from SR-88 to Charles Howard Park for tree on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
