Databricks Appoints Eva Fors as Vice President for Benelux and Nordics

Tech leader will drive regional expansion and accelerate enterprise adoption of AI apps and agents

Stockholm, Sweden - September 10, 2025 - Databricks, the data and AI company, today announced the appointment of Eva Fors as Vice President for the Benelux and Nordic region. In her new role, she will drive the adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and support local customers across the region to effectively scale trusted AI apps and agents.

This appointment follows a string of senior hires in EMEA and strong business momentum for Databricks, including closing its Series K funding, valuing the company at >$100 billion. The company also announced it has surpassed a $4 billion revenue run-rate during Q2 and recently exceeded a $1 billion revenue run-rate for its AI products. This new capital will accelerate Databricks' AI strategy - expanding Agent Bricks, a new, automated way to create high-performing AI agents tailored to a business, and investing in its new database offering Lakebase - a first-of-its-kind, fully-managed Postgres database built for AI.

Shaping the future of data intelligence & agentic AI in the region
Based in Stockholm, Eva brings over two decades of leadership experience from hyperscalers, building cloud businesses and driving digital transformation across commercial enterprises, the public sector, and digital natives.

She most recently spent nine years at Google Cloud as the Managing Director for the Nordic region, where she elevated the business from a challenger position to building strategic partnerships across industries and countries, scaling up the Nordic organization. Prior to this, Eva held leadership positions at Microsoft in Sweden and Western Europe, and served as CEO of the IoT startup, Yanzi Networks.

At Databricks, Eva will help enterprises across the Benelux and Nordic region, such as ABN Amro, Ahold Delhaize, KONE, Nokia and Pandora, build domain-specific AI apps and agents on their enterprise data.

"I'm thrilled to join Databricks at such a pivotal time for the company. Databricks is truly at the heart of the high-growth data and AI market with its explosive growth and deep commitment to AI research. I'm excited to work with our team, customers and partners throughout the region to drive true business impact from Gen AI and further close the gap between AI ambition and AI implementation, " said Eva Fors, Vice President, Benelux and Nordics, Databricks.

"I'm delighted to welcome Eva to the Databricks EMEA leadership team. Her extensive experience and expertise are only going to accelerate our growth and ambitions for the Benelux and Nordic market," said Samuel Bonamigo, SVP and GM EMEA, Databricks. "More and more local customers are adopting the full capabilities of the Data Intelligence Platform to create a 'future-ready' foundation to scale their AI strategies. I wish Eva every success in her new role as she supports our customers across the region in realising the full value and impact of Gen AI."
