Tri-City Summit

Lewisville residents are encouraged to connect with their neighbors, meet City leaders, and learn how to strengthen their community at the Tri-City Summit on Saturday, March 28, 8 a.m.-12 p.m., at Coppell Arts Center, 505 Travis Street.

Hosted by the City of Coppell, the Town of Flower Mound, and the City of Lewisville, the event will feature a variety of information sessions presented by local leaders and industry professionals. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet city officials and learn more about what's happening in their respective communities.

There will be three informational sessions during this event. Topics include:

  • Keynote Speaker Catherine Huckaby, founder of The Community Positive Project will discuss what it takes to create real, lasting change in a community. Huckaby has spent her career working at the intersection of local government, public service, and grassroots action. In this session participants will learn about the importance of community engagement and volunteerism in the community.
  • Volunteer opportunities: Participants will learn about volunteer opportunities and how to get involved. Topics will include upcoming projects, current needs, and the impact volunteers make throughout the year.
  • Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness: Participants will learn how to prepared before an emergency happens. This session will include practical steps to protect your household and support your neighbors during disasters such as severe weather, power outages, and other unexpected events.
