Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Norma Torres (CA-35), a senior member of the Appropriations committee is urging constituents and Californians to stay home and remain safe as wildfires and high winds continue to impact communities throughout the state.
"The safety of our communities is my top priority during these extremely dangerous conditions," said Congresswoman Norma Torres. "The wildfires and powerful winds are creating serious threats to our homes, families, and public safety. I encourage all residents to stay indoors, avoid unnecessary travel, and follow local authorities' instructions."
