The newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Armenia presented his credentials to the President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan

The newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Armenia, Alessandro Ferranti, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The President congratulated the newly appointed ambassador on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Armenia and wished him success. He emphasized that the historical close ties and shared values have contributed to the formation and development of friendly relations between the peoples of Armenia and Italy.

Vahagn Khachaturyan noted that Armenia values the deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation with Italy. He assured that the Armenian leadership is ready to fully support the ambassador in all initiatives aimed at developing Armenia-Italy relations.

President Khachaturyan also highlighted the importance of decentralized cooperation and collaboration at the parliamentary level.

The newly appointed ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and kind words, assuring that during his tenure, he will make every effort to strengthen and expand bilateral relations. "I undertake my mission in Ыour country with great enthusiasm and responsibility," the ambassador stated.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening Armenia-Italy relations and the continuous development of comprehensive cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, information technologies, and culture.

The President underlined that relations with Italy are important for Armenia not only on a bilateral level but also in the context of cooperation within European structures.
