WHY:
M-DCPS is hosting a groundbreaking at MAST@FIU Biscayne Bay Campus to celebrate the project that will construct a new, three-story, 35,000 sq. ft. building expected to be completed in November 2027.
The structure will feature 20 general classrooms with approximately 500 student stations, as well as an administration suite, a dining room, a warming kitchen, and an outdoor dining area.
There will also be a covered walkway connection to the existing building, a new parking lot with 36 spaces, sidewalks and fencing, and a roadway on the south side of the property.
