No. 2 Lakers ready for crosstown rival Davenport

Quarterback Avery Moore returned to the lineup after sitting out against Wisconsin-La Crosse due to an injury. Against West Florida, Moore compiled 190 yards of total offense (106 passing yards, 84 rushing yards) and two touchdowns.

"I knew coming in to the West Florida game that I had to play well, keep my body protected and play the best game I could play," Moore said. "That game was the end of non-conference play, so we had to get a big win and be ready for GLIAC play."
