    Police responded to a local hospital to speak with the victim of a hit and run crash that is said the have occurred on the 2400 block of Massachusetts Ave. The reporting party claims they were driving when an individual merged into their lane and began throwing objects out of their window towards the reporting party's car. When the reporting party pulled over in front of the individual's vehicle and got out to confront them, the other driver maneuvered around the reporting party's vehicle, striking them and their vehicle. The victim then drove to a hospital and police were called.

    Police responded to a report of threats on the 100 block of Norfolk St. The reporting party claims an individual threatened to kill them after they refused to give them a cigarette. Upon officers arrival, the suspect was detained and searched for weapons. During the search, a twisted bag of suspected Methamphetamine was dropped from the individuals pocket. Officers subsequently arrested John Laing, 59, of Cambridge for Bio Threat and Class B Drug Possession.

    Police responded to a report of a shoplifting on the 200 block of Alewife Brook Pkwy. The reporting party claims a suspect filled a bag with grocery items estimated to be valued at $75-$100. The suspect got into a motor vehicle and fled the area before officers arrived.

    Police responded to a report of a crash between a truck and a bicyclist at the intersection of Amherst St & Massachusetts Ave. The operator of the truck struck the bicyclist when turning right, causing minor injuries. The bicyclist signed a medical refusal and the operator was issued a citation.

    While on patrol officers observed an individual known to them from prior interactions at the intersection of Green St & Magazine St. Officers conducted a warrant check which revealed that they had an active warrant out of Cambridge District Court. Consequently, Jose Deleon, 58, unhoused was arrested for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.
