Linn County to Hold Public Hearing November 6 on Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Amendment
The Linn County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on November 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. on a proposed budget amendment for fiscal year 2025. The public hearing will be held at the Linn County Public Service Center, 935 2nd St. SW in Cedar Rapids.
Fall budget amendments are used to adjust for the previous fiscal year carry-forward amounts discussed by the Board of Supervisors during multiple public meetings and for significant changes in revenues and expenditures that will occur prior to May 2025. There will be no increase in taxes.
