All Streets to be Plowed Starting at 7am; No Trash & Recycling Pickup Today (3/16/26)
Snowplowing Information
Citywide plowing operations will begin today at 7:00am.
Due to the hazardous weather conditions, snowplowing work will take longer than the usual 12 to 14 hours to get to every road in Madison. Your patience is appreciated.

Trash & Recycling Pickup Delayed Due to Storm; Drop-off Sites Closed
Trash, recycling, and large item collection has been postponed for today (3/16/26) due to the severe weather.
Residents with a Monday trash (or trash & recycling) pickup day should instead place the cart(s) out for pickup by 6:30am on Tuesday, 3/17/26 for emptying.
Large item pickup will get underway for the week on Tuesday, March 17.
Streets Division drop-off sites are closed on March 16, 2026, as well.
The drop-off sites will reopen for normal winter hours on Tuesday, March 17.
