The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that the Exit 75 and 74 southbound on-ramps will be closed for an overnight shift beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2026. It is anticipated that the nighttime closures will end sometime during the week. These closures are necessary to facilitate the construction of the new permanent Exit 75 southbound on-ramp.

CTDOT Project No. 0044-0156 was awarded to Manafort Brothers at a cost of $148,000,000 on February 1, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2027. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
