The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department will host its Teen Night series this summer at local recreation centers across the City beginning June 12, and running through August 21.
All events are for teens ages 13-17.
Pool Party
Date: Friday, June 12
Time: 6-8 pm
Location: Warnersville Recreation Center, 601 Doak St.
Teens will be able to swim and play pool games/board games while enjoying popsicles, lemonade and light snacks.
Laser Tag
Date: Wednesday, July 8
Time: 6:30-8:30 pm
Location: Lindley Recreation Center, 2907 Springwood Dr.
Laser tag in the dark. The gym will be set up as an obstacle course for the teens to partake in laser tag - where they will be split into groups. The game room will also be available for video games, basketball, and more.
E-Games/E-Sports Tournament
Date: Thursday, July 23
Time: 6:30-8:30 pm
Location: Craft, Lewis, Lindley, Leonard, Warnersville, Caldcleugh, Glenwood, and Peeler Recreation Center
Recreation centers will go head-to-head in an e-sports tournament - bringing players together for some friendly competition, teamwork, and high-energy fun.
Glow in the Dark Dodgeball
Date: Wednesday, August 5
Time: 6:30-8:30 pm
Location: Lewis Recreation Center, 3110 Forest Lawn Dr.
Teens will spilt into two teams as they compete in glow in the dark dodgeball. All equipment is available at no charge. Lemonade and snacks will be available.
Pool Party
Date: Friday, August 21
Time: 6-8 pm
Location: Peeler Recreation Center, 1300 Sykes Ave.
Teens will be able to swim and play pool games/board games while enjoying popsicles, lemonade and light snacks.
