Changes Coming to ePermits Access and Beer Permit Applications

The Metropolitan Beer Permit Board would like to inform permit holders and applicants of upcoming changes to the ePermits system that will affect both access to issued beer permits and the application process.

Due to updated accessibility requirements, ePermits will transition from public access to a secure, account-based system. This change will go into effect on or before April 24. Users will be required to register for an account and sign in to access permit records and submit applications.

Access to Existing Permits

  • Access to permits will be based on the email address associated with the permit.
  • Users will only be able to view permits linked to their email address.
  • Public access to permits through ePermits will no longer be available.

Creating an account does not grant access to existing permits unless the email matches the contact information on file.

Permit holders are reminded that, pursuant to Metropolitan Code of Laws § 7.08.040(G), they are required to maintain current and accurate contact information. If contact information is not up to date, access to permits may be limited until the information is corrected.

Permit holders may update their contact information through Hub Nashville at the link below:

New Applications

  • Anyone may create an account to submit a new beer permit application.
  • Accounts created for new applications are not automatically linked to existing permits.
  • Access to issued permits will only be available when the user's email matches the contact information associated with the permit.

Please Note
There is generally no need to access issued beer permits through ePermits. If a copy of a beer permit is needed, permit holders or their representatives should contact the Metropolitan Beer Permit Board directly for assistance.

Permit holders are encouraged to review and update their contact information prior to April 24 to avoid any access issues.

Additional updates will be provided as the implementation date approaches.
