This fall, the University of Wisconsin-Superior recorded its highest number of new first-year students in three years, reflecting continued momentum in undergraduate enrollment.

According to final Fall enrollment data, UW-Superior's total headcount stands at 2,790 maintaining steady overall enrollment. The university also reached a milestone with an all-time high of 867 graduate students, a ten percent increase.

New on-campus undergraduate enrollment increased by six percent, bringing the total on-campus undergraduate student population to 1,181.

"We're excited to see more students choosing UW-Superior, including a nine-percent increase in our first-year class and record graduate enrollment for the second year in a row," said Jordan Milan, associate vice chancellor of enrollment and marketing. "Students are drawn to UWS because of the practical, hands-on education they receive here - an education that prepares them to launch meaningful careers and succeed long after graduation."

"These numbers reflect the strength of our academic programs, and the value students see in a UW-Superior education," said Chancellor Renée Wachter. "We're especially proud of the growth in graduate programs and the strong incoming first-year class, which demonstrates our commitment to access, affordability and student success."
