PR No. 70 Pakistan's Humanitarian Assistance for flood affected people of Nepal hande

Pakistan National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched 100 ton humanitarian assistance to flood-affected areas of Nepal, which has landed at Kathmandu safely tonight.A handover ceremony was held at the airport at on 6 September 2026.

H.E. Muhammad Amir Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, handed over the relief package to Nepali Minister H.E. Mr. Mahabir Pun, Minister for Science & Technology, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with H.E. Mr. Raj Bhandari, Joint Secretary, SA Division.

The ceremony was also attended by the Defence Attaché (P), Consular, Political & Education Counsellors, and Head of Chancery from the Embassy of Pakistan, along with senior officials from NDRRMA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepal.

This humanitarian assistance reflects Pakistan's commitment to stand in solidarity with the people of Nepal during times of natural calamity.
