First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Lukashevich meets Ambassador of Tanzania

On April 10, 2026 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Fredrick Ibrahim Kibuta, on the occasion of the presentation of his Credentials to the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The interlocutors discussed ways to deepen political dialogue, strengthen cooperation in key areas, including agriculture, industrial cooperation and education, as well as to develop a legal framework and enhance interaction within international organisations.

A schedule of visits and joint events for the near future was agreed.

The parties emphasised their mutual interest in the dynamic development of the full range of relations for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Tanzania.
