During her visit, Ms Pampaloni co-chaired the 7th EU-Australia Joint Committee Meeting (read the joint press statement here), as well as the 13th EU-Australia-New Zealand Trilateral Dialogue on the Pacific, both of which advanced discussions on shared priorities in security, trade, climate action, and regional stability.

Her programme also included:

  • Discussing implementation of the EU Indo-Pacific Strategy on ASPI's Stop the World Podcast;

  • Meeting with the European Union Member States Ambassadors to Australia;

  • And a tour of the First Nations Experience of Democracy at the Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD).

Amid today's shifting geopolitical landscape, Europe and Australia continue to work closely on key global challenges, guided by shared perspectives, a common vision, and strategic priorities.
