Statement from Representative John W. Mannion on the Two-Year Anniversary of the October 7th Terrorist Attack

Two years ago, in the deadliest assault on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, Hamas launched a brutal terror attack on innocent Israelis. My thoughts will always be with the victims, their families, and everyone still suffering from this war.

I continue to call for the immediate release of all hostages and support the ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring peace and stability to the region.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza must end, and innocent civilians must no longer bear the brunt of this conflict. Hamas is a terrorist organization - it cannot govern - and the only lasting path forward is a meaningful, secure two-state solution that ensures peace, safety, and dignity for both Israelis and Palestinians.
