The following is attributable to Kansas Farm Bureau President Joe Newland:

"I appreciate U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins elevating strong voices for rural Kansas to key leadership positions in Kansas and USDA. I'm delighted David Schemm will again serve as the state executive director of the Kansas Farm Service Agency and Gimmie Jo Jansonius will serve as state director for USDA Rural Development in Kansas. I also welcome the appointment of Ken Selzer as associate administrator of USDA RMA where he will help oversee the crop insurance program. I congratulate these three and wish them the best in their service to Kansas and the country. I look forward to working together to improve agriculture and rural living in Kansas."
