Chairperson received by H.E. President @KagutaMuseveni at @StateHouseUg

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. @ymahmoudali, was today received by H.E. President @KagutaMuseveni at @StateHouseUg. The Chairperson expressed appreciation for the President hosting the Extraordinary Summit of Troop Contributing Countries to AUSSOM & Somalia, scheduled for 25 April 2025 in Entebbe. The two leaders exchanged views on regional peace & security & the AU's efforts in this regard.

President Museveni congratulated the Chairperson on his election & reaffirmed Uganda's support for his leadership & mandate.
