Update on Hampstead, New Hampshire Death Investigation

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Hampstead Police Chief Robert Kelley announce that an autopsy has been conducted on the body of Brittney Hoehn (33). Her body was discovered inside of her home on Merryfield Lane in Hampstead, New Hampshire after a call to 911 on the morning of Sunday, June 21, 2026.

New Hampshire's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) conducted the autopsy today on the body of Brittney Hoehn. The OCME indicated that further analysis is needed to make a determination of cause and manner of death.

The exact circumstances surrounding this incident remain under active investigation, and there is no known threat to the public at this time as all known parties have been identified.

No additional information is expected to be released until a determination of cause and manner of death is made. This determination may not be made for approximately two to three months due to the time needed for additional analysis to occur.
