City of Cedar Rapids Seeks Public Feedback on Animal Care & Control Operations
The City of Cedar Rapids invites residents and community members to provide input on the operations of Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control (CRACC). As part of an independent operational review currently underway, the City is seeking public feedback to determine strengths, opportunities, and challenges in order to strengthen its overall animal-care services.
The survey is completely anonymous. Results will be compiled into a summary that will inform recommendations as part of the overall operational review.

- Survey Opens: October 20, 2025

The operational review will identify immediate improvements and long-term investments needed to improve the City's efforts to serve its animal population. Public feedback will guide recommendations to ensure animals in our community receive the support they need. A presentation on a draft review is anticipated at a City Council meeting by the end of this year.
