Bands in the Park returns to Coventry this summer with free family concerts

Coventry City Council's popular Bands in the Park series returns next month, bringing eight free live music performances to the city's green spaces throughout the summer.

Residents and visitors will be able to enjoy outdoor concerts between June and September, with the first event taking place on Sunday 7 June at War Memorial Park.

Kicking off the 2026 programme is the Standard Triumph Pipe Band, with a variety of talented bands from across the West Midlands set to perform over the coming months.

These free mini concerts cover a wide variety of musical styles and create a fun atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Concerts will run on selected Sundays throughout the summer from 2pm to 3.30pm, offering the perfect opportunity for families, friends and music lovers to come together and soak in an afternoon of live entertainment in Coventry's parks.

Cabinet Member for Events, Councillor John McNicholas, said: "Bands in the Park is a brilliant way to bring our communities together to enjoy the outdoors and fantastic music in some of Coventry's beautiful green spaces.

"We're delighted to welcome back this much-loved programme and look forward to seeing residents and visitors enjoying the performances this summer."
