Carrollton Publishes User-Friendly Annual Financial Report

The City of Carrollton recently published the 2025 Popular Annual Financial Report, or PAFR, offering the community a high-level, easy-to-read compilation of the City's budgetary and financial status.

The 2025 PAFR covers the fiscal year October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025, and includes not only financial information, but also a community profile, an overview of Carrollton's activities and accomplishments from the past year, a look ahead at exciting local developments, and trend data for Texas municipalities.

The goal of the 2025 PAFR is to provide Carrollton citizens with a synopsis of how the City is meeting established financial standards and ideals, enabling the community to review. Information in this report is guided by best practices established by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).

"We're pleased to unveil the 2025 PAFR because we know our residents will appreciate the wide range of financial information the document offers," Diana Vaughn, Chief Financial Officer, said. "The PAFR breaks down Carrollton's financial highlights such as the General Fund balance, property and sales tax data, as well as additions to the City's capital assets. Staff and Council work hard to maintain Carrollton's strong financial position and this report summarizes the results of the past year for our residents."

The City of Carrollton has received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting from GFOA for fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024. It is a prestigious, national award that recognizes conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government reports. GFOA considers receipt of this award a significant City achievement. Carrollton is set to continue its high-quality financial offering once more by publishing the fiscal year 2025 PAFR.
