Law on refusing the extradition of foreign nationals serving in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to a foreign state for criminal prosecution

The federal law provides for the refusal to extradite to a foreign state, for the purposes of criminal prosecution or the enforcement of a sentence, any foreign citizen or stateless person serving under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or in other military formations of the Russian Federation, as well as those who previously served under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or other military formations of the Russian Federation and who took part in combat operations as part of the Armed Forces or other military formations of the Russian Federation.
