NEXT WEEK: Senate HELP Committee to Hold Hearing on Nomination for FDA Commissioner

WASHINGTON - On Thursday, September 24, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee will hold a confirmation hearing on the nomination of Dr. Heidi Overton to be Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The hearing will take place directly after the HELP Committee votes on the nominations of several Trump administration nominees at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and National Mediation Board, as well as legislation to eliminate student aid fraud in higher education.
