Media Advisory: Groundbreaking ceremony for new Military Gallery to take place Thursday at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Musuem

Program information
The public and media are invited to the Military Gallery groundbreaking ceremony at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum's outdoor Prairie Amphitheater on Thursday, July 10.
5 p.m. Seating area opens
5:15 p.m. Music by the 188th Army Band
5:30 p.m. Groundbreaking ceremony emceed by Shirley Olgeirson, North Dakota National Guard historian
- Presentation of colors-AMVETS Post #9 Honor Guard
- "Flag Song"-Clark's Creek Singers under the direction of U.S. Army veteran Shylo Baker
- "The Star-Spangled Banner"-188th Army Band
- Dignitary speeches
- Groundbreaking
- Closing of ceremony
A reception and refreshments sponsored by Zerr Berg Architects and Kraus Anderson Construction Company will follow in the Northern Lights Atrium.
