On Friday March 20, 2026, during its Special City Council Meeting, Mayor Salwan appointed the following individuals to serve on the newly formed Charter Advisory Committee:

Brad Hatton
Rick Jones
Sue Kwong
Kim Marshall
Sathya Sankaran
Ben Yee
The first meeting will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 5:00 pm in City Council Chambers, located at 3300 Capitol Avenue, Building A. The live stream of the meeting may be viewed on the City of Fremont's website, which provides a link to the live stream; or, via Comcast Channel 27.
