Buckeye Awards Nonprofit Community Funding Program Grants

Buckeye City Council approved $124,000 in Fiscal Year 2027 Nonprofit Community Funding Program grants for 19 nonprofit organizations at its October 6 meeting.

The city received 48 applications. A panel of Councilmembers and community members reviewed proposals and recommended awards for programs serving Buckeye residents.

The funded partners provide services that address resident needs, including food and housing assistance, youth and family programs, health and disability support and veteran services. Partnering with experienced nonprofits maximizes city funding and reaches more people in need.

This year's grant recipients are:

  • A New Leaf ($5,000)
  • All Faith Community Services ($25,000)
  • Angels on Patrol ($6,500)
  • AZ Community Impact ($3,000)
  • Buckeye Juneteenth ($2,500)
  • Gervonni Cares, Inc. ($5,000)
  • Girasol ($5,000)
  • Helping Families in Need ($4,500)
  • Mendivil Family Foundation ($3,000)
  • Mirna's Place ($15,000)
  • R.O.S.E. Resources & Outreach for Safeguarding the Elderly ($4,000)
  • Read Better, Be Better ($3,000)
  • Sleep in Heavenly Peace ($2,500)
  • Sounds of Autism ($7,500)
  • Southwest Lending Closet ($6,500)
  • VFW Post 12098 ($10,000)
  • Voices for Casa Children ($2,500)
  • Women 4 Women ($5,000)
  • Youth 4 Youth ($8,500)
