The City of Green Bay announces that a Class B liquor license will be available for application following City Council action to release the license back to the available pool.
Application Process
Once the license is officially released, the City Clerk's Office will accept complete applications Wednesday, July 16th at 7:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis with a completed application. The Clerk will assign numbers to applicants and accept the first complete application received.
Fees and Timeline
Application Fees:
Processing Time: 2 to 3 weeks from submission.
Provisional License: Available for $15 while regular application is processed (up to 60 days).

About Class B Licenses
A Class B liquor license authorizes retail sale of intoxicating liquor by the glass for on-premises consumption (restaurants/bars) and wine sales in original containers for off-premises consumption. There is a quota system for Class B liquor licenses, while Class B beer licenses are unlimited.
