Dechert Again Recognized Among Leading Firms for Pro Bono by The American Lawyer

Dechert has been ranked #3 internationally and #7 in U.S. in The American Lawyer's annual Pro Bono Scorecard.

Each year, the Pro Bono Scorecard ranks the 200 largest law firms in the U.S. based on the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer and the percentage of lawyers who performed more than 20 hours of pro bono work. The American Lawyer has ranked Dechert in the top three spots for international work for 11 consecutive years and in the top 10 in the U.S. for nine out of the last 10 years. This recognition follows closely on other recent pro bono honors for the firm, including the National Legal Aid & Defender Association's 2026 Beacon of Justice Award.

In 2025, Dechert provided more than 82,000 hours of pro bono legal services globally. In addition, our Dechert Impact Fellowship provides lawyers at the beginning of their careers with the chance to spend a full year working with one of our nonprofit partners.
