City to test school zone traffic signals
Beginning Monday, July 27, the City of Lewisville Streets Division will conduct school zone flasher testing in all school locations around the city.
These tests ensure all equipment functions properly and support safe traffic operations during active school zones.
Motorists must observe the posted school zone speed limit during the testing period when the yellow lights are flashing.
Testing will be done over a two-week period. The first day of school for Lewisville ISD is Wednesday, Aug. 12.
