Tampa, FL (February 16, 2026)- Tampa Police are currently investigating a shooting that injured one man.
Shortly after 4:00pm, officers responded to 27th Street and 98th Ave for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male had been shot. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Detectives have detained a person of interest in this investigation.
