TVRI has secured a partnership with the FIA Extreme H World Cup, the world's first hydrogen motorsport championship, bringing the series to millions of homes across the country. The coverage begins with the Extreme E "Final Lap" on 4-5 October 2025, which closes the era of electric off-road racing, followed by the debut of the FIA Extreme H World Cup on 9-11 October 2025 in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia.
Indonesian audiences will be able to follow the action on TVRI and TVRI Sports, with races available in both English and local languages. Programming will feature live races, highlights, and special segments to introduce fans to hydrogen-powered motorsport. Extreme H will see eight international teams and 16 drivers - equally split between men and women - compete over a three-day weekend, showcasing both high-performance racing and hydrogen technology in action.
Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme H said the partnership with TVRI connects the series to Indonesia's strong sporting culture and commitment to renewable energy. President Director of LPP TVRI, Iman Brotoseno emphasized that Extreme H is more than just racing, describing it as a combination of spectacle, purpose, and innovation.
