At the sitting held on 23 June 2026, the Health and Family Committee considered the following:
The sitting was attended by Dr Mirsad Djerlek, State Secretary at the Ministry of Health, and Ruzica Jovanovic, acting director of the Biomedicine Directorate at the Ministry of Health.
The MPs had submitted 32 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Human Organ Transplantation, of which the Government and the Committee accepted five. The Committee decided, by majority vote, to reject the rest.
The MPs had submitted 22 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Human Cells and Tissues, of which the Government and the Committee accepted two. The Committee decided, by majority vote, to reject the rest.
The Committee also submitted two amendments of its own to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Human Organ Transplantation, to article 1, paragraphs 2 and 5 and Article 2, paragraphs 2 and 3. The representative of the submitter of the Bill accepted the Committee amendments.
