PUBLIC NOTICE - Special Joint Council Meeting with Cowichan Tribes on March 5, 2026 at 2:00pm

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Cowichan Tribes will be hosting a Special Joint Council meeting between the Municipality of North Cowichan and Cowichan Tribes on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. to be held at Cowichan Tribes - Council Chambers, 5760 Allenby Road, Duncan, BC, to consider matters that are closed to the public in accordance with the following sections of the Community Charter:

  1. 90(1)(i.1) FIPPA s. 18 Disclosure harmful to interests of an Indigenous people, and
  2. 90(2)(b)(iii) First Nation Negotiations.

This notice is given as required by Section 127 of the Community Charter and in accordance with section 5.4 of the Council and Committee Procedure Bylaw No. 3945.
