SalemRecycles Hosts Repair Café Saturday, February 8th at Community Life Center

Don't throw away your broken item; bring it to the Repair Café! SalemRecycles is hosting a Repair Café on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Community Life Center at 401 Bridge St. Appointments are required.

REPAIR volunteers will be available to mend clothing, sew buttons, diagnose computers/phones/tablets, and more. These services may change as we confirm volunteers. We hope to see you at this fun event where you can learn how to fix things and reduce your waste!

TERRACYCLE collections - We're collecting 4 categories of otherwise hard-to-recycle items. Please keep each TerraCycle stream separate.

* Swiffers: All used, dried Swiffer pads.

* Razors: All brands of reusable and disposable razors, blades & cartridges, as well as any flexible or rigid plastic packaging they come in.

* Dental Care: All brands of non-electric toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, floss containers, and toothbrush packaging.

* Brita: Brita dispenser, Brita pitchers, Brita bottles, Brita standard filters, Brita Stream filters, Brita bottle filters, Brita filter packaging, Brita filters, Brita Stream® pitchers.
