Paris, June 26, 2026 - Kappa and Junya Watanabe Man unveil a new collaborative capsule collection that reimagines one of the brand's most recognizable design codes: the iconic Omini Banda. Presented this morning during Paris Fashion Week, the collection marks a creative dialogue between sportswear heritage and contemporary fashion.
Inspired by the upcoming evolution of Kappa's signature logo tape, Junya Watanabe offers a personal reinterpretation of the Omini Banda, transforming it through his distinctive design language and experimental approach towards the Banda Culture. The capsule consists of 17 pieces that merge technical references, everyday functionality, and elevated craftsmanship, reflecting the shared values of innovation and authenticity that define both brands.
Unveiled on the runway as part of Junya Watanabe Man's Spring/Summer 2027 presentation, the collection explores the intersection of sport and fashion culture, where the iconic banda becomes part of a reimagined and progressive collection.
The Kappa x Junya Watanabe Man capsule collection will be available as part of the Spring/Summer 2027 season
