Acura sales up 13% in June

Acura gateway models combine for over 30,000 units

  • American Honda (AHM) June sales were up 17% on 133,781 units, its best June in five years.
  • AHM posted sales of 756,920 units in the first half of 2026 (+2.4%), its best first half and quarterly result since 2021. The sales increase was achieved with a balanced lineup of sedans and SUVs, which includes numerous fuel-efficient, affordable models.
  • American Honda passenger cars posted their best June (+28%), first half (+14%) and quarter (+20%) in five years.
  • Honda brand annual sales totaled 687,205 in the first half (+2.5%), up 17% in June, with strong sales of passenger cars and a record performance by electrified models, led by CR-V with hybrid trims representing 51% of June model sales.
  • Acura brand annual sales grew 13% in June and 2% in the first half on sales of 69,715 units, its best half since 2023, led by strong sales of gateway models and SUVs.

Sales Highlights

  • Record first half sales of Honda hybrid models (213,513 units) and big gains from passenger car sales (+28%) in June helped the brand build sales momentum in Q2 (+9%) and climb into positive territory for the first half of 2026 (+2.5%).
    • Record sales of Passport totaled 30,360 in the first half, marking the best half and quarter of all time, as well as a record June (5,179), with rugged TrailSport trims accounting for over 80% of Passport sales.
    • CR-V is the #1 SUV in America in 2026, posting sales of over 226,114 units for all-time best first half (+6%) and best first quarter sales (+16%), and a record June (+30%) with CR-V hybrid models representing 55% of sales for an all-time best half (124,017), quarter and June.
    • Light truck sales marked their best June (+12%), with sales of 80,418 units, and best quarter (+4.5%) in five years with Odyssey (8,481 units) and Ridgeline (4,805 units) making big June contributions.
    • HR-V was up 7% in June (11,743 units) despite supply challenges, with Pilot up over 5% in the same time frame (9,668 units).
    • Honda passenger car sales jumped 15% YTD with 224,231 units, marking their best first half and quarter since 2021, led by Civic with sales of 22,805 units, and Accord with sales up over 32% YTD and 41% for the quarter. Hybrid trims represented 43% of the Accord sales mix, with Civic hybrid accounting for 30% of model sales.

Sales Highlights

  • Acura sales increased 13% in June on sales of 12,313, driven by both strong customer retention and conquest sales. Double-digit growth led the brand to its best June and first half since 2023. Gateway models ADX and Integra combined for sales of over 30,000 units in the first half for the first time.
    • ADX premium gateway crossover tallied its second-best month of the year on June sales of over 3,100 units (+58%), reaching 16,554 units year-to-date, including Q2 sales growth of 94%. ADX continues to lead its segment with around 30% of retail sales.
    • Integra continued its strong sales momentum with 85% growth in June and first-half sales up 42% on sales over 14,000 units, maintaining its significant lead in its segment with over 40% of retail sales.
    • Acura SUVs posted best June in 5 years (since 2021). Acura flagship MDX marked its fourth consecutive month over 4,000 units and second-best sales month of the year-up 40% in June, up 16% in Q2 and 10% in 2026.
