Public Comments Sought for FY 2026-27 HUD Funding

Greensboro residents are encouraged to review and comment on the FY 2026-2027 Draft Annual Action Plan. The Public Comment Period will be from March 12-April 14. The Draft Annual Action Plan is available for review at https://www.greensboro-nc.gov/AnnualPlan. The Draft 2026-2027 Funding Chart is available at https://www.greensboro-nc.gov/FundingChart. Please call 336-373-4636 if hard copies are required. All comments will be considered prior to any further action by the City towards plan implementation.

The Annual Action Plan outlines how the City will use anticipated US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding to address affordable housing and community development needs in Greensboro and Guilford County, from the following programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).

The City of Greensboro intends to submit the FY 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan to HUD on or before May 15.
