08/13/2026 - Downtown Traffic Impacts: August 17-28

Downtown Traffic Impacts

Beginning Monday, August 17th through Friday, August 28th, there will be traffic impacts in the Downtown area. Work will occur at the intersection of 4th Ave and Washington St and along Capitol Way between 4th Ave and 5th Ave for Intercity Transit rear door bus pad improvements.

Traffic impacts along Capitol Way will occur from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with the roadway fully reopened at the end of each day. Impacts at 4th Ave will also occur from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., while impacts at Washington St will continue through August 28th.

The bus stop at the intersection of 4th Ave and Washington St will be temporarily relocated 105 feet west, near the US Bank building.

Please plan to use alternate routes or allow additional travel time during this period.
