  • At night: take eastbound SR-92 to Mariner's Island Blvd.

San Mateo County ― Caltrans will be implementing an overnight detour to the Fashion Island Blvd. off-ramp from southbound U.S. 101 so that crews can construct bridge column foundations. The nightly detour will be in place from August 25 through October 25, 2025 between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 5 a.m. To access Fashion Island Blvd from southbound U.S. 101, drivers should take eastbound SR-92 and exit at Mariner's Island Blvd. and then turn right to access Fashion Island Blvd.

This work is part of the $45M U.S. 101- SR-92 Short-term Improvements Project that is co-sponsored by the San Mateo County Transportation Authority and City/County Association of Governments. The project will bring operational improvements, enhancement to local access, and promotion of economic vitality to the region.

All work is weather dependent. Please drive with caution.
