BPD in the Community: A Community Partnership through Basketball in Charlestown

BPD in the Community: Officers from District A-1/A-15 (Downtown/Charlestown) Community Service Office participated in the inspiring RISE program at BGC Boston in Charlestown. RISE is a national nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering the sports community to combat racial discrimination, advocate for social justice, and enhance race relations. The Building Bridges through Basketball initiative, an award-winning program utilizes basketball to bring together middle and high school youth and local police officers in cities nationwide.
