The Office of Human Rights July Lens series "Disability and Fair Housing" will be presented by Kristin Watson, JD, the City's Human Rights Investigator, from noon to 1 p.m., on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
About the program
Fair housing remains a critical issue nationwide, particularly for people with disabilities who often face barriers to finding suitable housing that meets their needs. Discriminatory practices can include inaccessible buildings, unreasonable rental policies, or a lack of reasonable accommodations, all of which can significantly affect the ability to secure safe, affordable housing.
