AIA Applauds House Appropriations Action on Commerce-Justice-Science Bill

Arlington, Va - Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today applauded the House Appropriations Committee for advancing the fiscal year 2026 Commerce-Justice-Science (CJS) Appropriations bill, which provides funding for NASA, NOAA, and other key federal science and technology agencies.

"This bill is a critical step toward ensuring U.S. leadership in space," said Fanning. "Investments in NASA and NOAA drive innovation, strengthen orbital safety, and support the technologies that keep our nation competitive. We especially appreciate the committee's decision to restore proposed funding reductions for NASA, helping to preserve key space programs and scientific research that are essential to maintaining our leadership. We commend the committee's bipartisan commitment and look forward to continued collaboration as the bill advances."
