The Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency will remember and celebrate the lives of passed loved ones at the third annual Día de Los Muertos: Magic of the Altars event. Hosted at the Roosevelt-Walker Community Center (816 E. Chestnut Ave.) on Saturday, November 1, from 3 - 6 p.m., this cultural celebration will honor the cherished tradition of the Day of the Dead, a time when families come together to reflect, share memories, and celebrate the eternal connection between the living and those who came before us.
This free, family-friendly event invites everyone to experience the beauty and meaning of Día de los Muertos through activities such as:

Pre-Celebration Workshops
Join the Roosevelt-Walker Community Center for two free crafting sessions that will prepare your home-and the community center-for the festivities. These workshops are open to all ages and take place from 6 - 7:30 p.m.:
