This summer, Bob's Discount Furniture will enter Tennessee, marking its presence in 28 states. Nashville-area residents will be able to shop for Bob's Discount Furniture at everyday low prices at four convenient locations. The new stores will grand open on Labor Day weekend in Franklin, Rivergate (Madison), Murfreesboro, and Clarksville with community-centric celebrations including free entertainment and giveaways, donations to area nonprofits and local schools, and celebrity meet and greets.

"We couldn't be more excited to bring the Bob's to Tennessee," said Bill Barton, President and CEO of Bob's Discount Furniture. "As we continue our expansion across the country, we're thrilled to introduce Tennessee shoppers to Bob's unbeatable mix of style, quality, value, and everyday low prices for every room in the home. We are also honored to serve the community through our ongoing partnership with the USO and through our support of local nonprofits like Nashville Rescue Mission."

Grand Openings Built for Fun, Family, and Giving Back

All grand opening events will kick off on Friday, September 4 at 9:30 AM EST with a ribbon cutting, donations, giveaways, free ice cream from a local vendor, and family-friendly activities. Additional special events will be shared later this summer.

Shoppers will find a wide variety of furniture for every room in the home at all Bob's locations in Tennessee. The Frankin location will also feature a stylish home decor marketplace with accents that guests can take home the same day. The Rivergate location will feature an outlet where Bob's discount goes even further.

Guests can expect a relaxed, no-pressure shopping experience with knowledgeable, friendly associates and unique showroom features like complimentary coffee and treats in every café.

Arriving with a Purpose

As a pillar of their philanthropic efforts, Bob's will support the basic needs of community members by establishing a partnership with Nashville Rescue Mission as part of their entry into the state. Bob's will complete a 'Day of Service' at the Mission's Women's Center in July, contribute $15,000 to the organization in celebration of their new partnership, which includes sponsorship of the Tracey Lawrence's Mission: Possible Turkey Fry to benefit Nashville Rescue Mission in the fall.

Heather Youngs, Senior Donor Relations Officer, commented on the partnership, "We are grateful for Bob's commitment to serving our community and supporting the work of Nashville Rescue Mission. Their partnership helps provide essential care and resources to men, women, and children who are hungry, hurting, and experiencing homelessness. We're honored to work alongside them to make a meaningful impact across Middle Tennessee."

Additionally, Bob's will continue its support of the military in partnership with the United Services Organization (USO) by furnishing their center at Fort Campbell in addition to supporting the organization by donating $5 from the sale of every Little Bob plushie sold through the end of the year.

"Tennessee is known as Volunteer State for their historical commitment to military volunteerism," said Lindsay Ruszczyk, Communications, Community Outreach and PR Director. "In supporting Nashville Rescue Mission, the USO, and the many local nonprofits and schools at each grand opening, we hope we are showing Tennessee residents we are not just here to help them turn the places live into homes they love but to also support our neighbors in need and those who serve our country."
