Kolektor Once Again Fields the Largest Team at the Franja Marathon

This year, Kolektor's cycling team consisted of more than 120 members, including employees, their family members, scholarship recipients, and retirees. The team comprised 116 men and 11 women. A total of 44 cyclists took on the demanding 156-kilometre course, while 83 riders participated in the shorter 97-kilometre route.

Largest Team at the Franja Marathon

For its employees (excluding family members, retirees, students, and scholarship recipients), Kolektor has established four competition categories. At the end of the year, the top performers in each category are awarded trophies.

Among Kolektor employees competing in the Big Franja Marathon, the best results were achieved by:

  • Category A (18-34 years): Žiga Poltrini, Aleks Vidmar, and Andrej Čuk
  • Category B (35-49 years): Alen Štucin, Urban Močnik, and Tadej Birtič
  • Category C (50-59 years): Borut Mrak, Valter Rupnik, and Marjan Makuc (men), and Saša Pečelin (women)
  • Category D (60 years and over): Peter Rupnik

In the Little Franja Marathon, the fastest riders were:

  • Category A (18-34 years): Maj Kristan, Luka Trontelj, and Jure Glušič (men), and Nika Bojanc (women)
  • Category B (35-49 years): Franci Klun, Valter Rupnik, and Klemen Kosmač (men), and Ana Drmota Petrič and Barbara Ozebek (women)
  • Category C (50-59 years): Damjan Rupnik, Rasto Lapajne, and Ivo Logar
  • Category D (60 years and over): Janez Urbar and Marjan Drmota
