Hill Street Closures Extended to January 30
The roadwork that began earlier this month on Hill Street will continue through Friday, January 30, about a month longer than expected.
Various lanes of Hill Street, from Battleground Avenue to West Bessemer Avenue, will remain closed for sanitary sewer construction.
Hill Street will be closed to through traffic; however, Latham Skate Park will remain accessible to pedestrians.
Motorists should expect delays around the work area and use alternate routes.
Work schedules depend on weather conditions and material/equipment availability.
